One idea per screen, one primary action

If everything is emphasised nothing is. Decide what you want seen first, second and third.

Squint at the page. You should still be able to say what it is, who it is for and what to do next. Give each screen one headline, one supporting line and one primary button; everything else is quieter.

Use three levels of emphasis (size, weight, colour contrast) and use them consistently. If two elements compete, make one smaller rather than the other bigger.
